The Environmental Health Engineering Division (EHED) can perform audits to evaluate compliance with Federal, state and local air quality requirements. These audits may be necessary annually to certify compliance with a Title V permit. Our audits not only evaluate the immediate compliance status, they propose long-term solutions if a noncompliance situation exist. Some of the services we offer include: compliance checklists that boil down all the jargon in the permit to a manageable outline; magnetic placards for emission sources that tell the source operator about the specific requirements under the permit; and shop level worker training to educate staff about the recordkeeping and reporting requirements associated with their equipment.
