The Public Health Preparedness and Response Division (PHPR) coordinates expertise from across APHC's technical programs to provide public health preparedness and response solutions for Army support efforts to operations, contingencies, exercises, and humanitarian/natural disasters.

The PHPR also coordinates with Regional Public Health Commands, and various levels of Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, DOD, Joint Staff, and Combatant Command entities to provide decision-support tools, technical guidance, and Occupational and Environmental Health (OEH) readiness support and sampling equipment that directly assists decision-making from the Preventive Medicine Unit level to the Command level.

To request support or OEH sampling equipment please email PHPR or call Commercial (410) 436-6096 or DSN (312) 584-6096.
