Any installation or facility that discharges wastewater directly to surface water must obtain a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit beforehand from the state. The Water Resources Program helps our clients acquire, write and comply with wastewater discharge permits. This involves a number of processes including:

  • Draft permit reviews
  • Permit noncompliance assistance
  • Regulatory negotiations
  • Enforcement actions/Environmental suits

The Water Resources Program helps clients come up with a discharge permit that is adequate for the particular installation and in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
