Description
This webinar series is designed for any epi-tech, community health nurse, public health nurse or preventive medicine physicians interested in learning best surveillance practices for local medical treatment facilities. Core performance areas that will be reinforced include: outbreak identification, reporting practices, and disease/case finding. This activity will improve the performance of preventive medicine personnel who conduct surveillance activities in inpatient and outpatient settings.  Webinar is held quarterly via MS Teams.
Prerequisites
Registration in MODS is required: 1. Go to: https://education.mods.army.mil/cme/secured/ 2. Click on “Activity Registration” 3. Log in (or create an account) (Registration tip: if your Facility is not listed as an option on the form, please select "OTHER/MEDCOM") 4. Type “Epi-tech Surveillance Training” into the search box and click Search 5. Follow prompts to complete registration
Remarks
Trainings are held online via MS Teams on the last Tuesday of each quarter in March/June/September. Continuing medical education (CME) credits available.
