Description
We will describe the basics of asbestos regarding its origin and current exposure hazards while providing a brief historical background. The participant will be able to identify the routes of exposure, health effects, and clinical presentation of asbestos related diseases while relating them to the need for employee enrollment.
Remarks

1) The United States Army Nurse Corps is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This program is approved for 1.5 Contact Hours. A maximum of 1.5 contact hours will be awarded to nurses who successfully complete this activity.

2) The U.S. Army Medical Command designates this Enduring Material for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
