​​​​​Tri-Service Vision Conservation and Readiness Course (TSVCRC) 

​​Purpose​

The Tri-Service Vision Conservation and Readiness Course (TSVCRC) is an online course that provides basic technical skills on ocular injury and vision loss prevention strategies and an overview of regulations and standards for Service members and DoD Civilians involved in the management of vision conservation and readiness programs at their sites. 

Topics covered include basic optics, anatomy and physiology of the eye, occupational vision, vision screening, ocular emergencies, radiant energy, lasers, and illumination.

Who Should Register for this Course? ​​

The TSVCRC meets the Individuals Critical Task List (ICTL) requirements for Army Optometrists and is designed to be instructional for local Vision Conservation Team Members (i.e., Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Optometry, Ophthalmology).


Registration Information

This U.S. Army TRADOC Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE)–sponsored course has officially transitioned from an in-person course to the MEDCoE online Distance Learning system on Blackboard® (Bb). 

Graduations will be automated between Bb and the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS). Students can download a certificate 24 hours after they graduate.
