DHA PH serves as the Army's subject matter experts for nonionizing radiation and provides information and guidance about potential hazards associated with the operation of electromagnetic fields (EMF) and radio frequency radiation (RFR) sources.

Nonionizing Radiation Safety Training

Level 2 and Level 3 Nonionizing Radiation Safety Officers (NRSO), to include Laser Safety Officers (LSO) and Radio Frequency Safety Officers, is offered at least once a year.  Please register for NRSO training here.
