In addition to on-line training, APHC ergonomists offer an in-person Blended Learning Environment:
Lecture, Site Assessments (15 Hrs. classroom, 9 Hrs. site assessments)
24-Hr course consists of core courses from Applied Ergonomics course. The course focuses on recognition of ergonomic hazards (overhead reaching, lifting, carrying, hand/powered tools, bending/kneeling work, vibrations, and office). Students conduct site assessments/walk-throughs with APHC Ergonomists to identify musculoskeletal hazards in the workplace.
Host site would be responsible for coordination of site visits to both office and industrial locations. Classes may be added/removed based on site's need. Monday and Friday typically serve as travel days. Please contact us for more information.
