The U.S. Army Public Health Command (USAPHC) had previously hosted the Gulf War Fires registry website. In an effort to consolidate Environmental Health Surveillance Registries, DOD now hosts this information on the Gulf War Oil Well Fire Smoke Registry page. DOD has developed a comprehensive Gulf War Oil Well Fire Smoke exposure registry that includes over 750,000 DOD personnel who were exposed to the smoke/fumes from burning oil wells between February 2, 1991 and October 29, 1991.
