The Public Health Preparedness and Response Division (PHPR) provides products that ensure public health preparedness and response solutions for Army support efforts to operations, contingencies, exercises, and humanitarian/natural disasters. These products provide Commanders and other decision-makers pertinent information needed to detect, assess, and counter deployment occupational and environmental health (OEH) threats as part of a comprehensive military medical surveillance program required by Department of Army and Department of Defense (DOD) regulations and directives.
The PHPR coordinates with U.S. Army Public Health Center technical programs, Regional Public Health Commands, and various levels of Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine, DOD, Joint Staff, and Combatant Command entities to provide decision-support tools, technical guidance, and sampling equipment that directly assists decision-making from Preventive Medicine Units to Command-level during deployments.
To request DOEHS support or OEH sampling equipment please email PHPR or call Commercial 410-436-7941 or DSN 312-584-7941
