​​​The DCPH-A offers a variety of health risk communication educational opportunities​. These educational opportunities are open to all military services, DoD, civilian personnel, contractors working on DoD projects, and other government agencies.

Risk Communication Classes​

These entry level classes​ provides participants with a basic understanding of the concepts, principles and processes of effective risk communication. Participants learn to anticipate and address public and/or worker concerns that affect mission success. Research-based risk communication principles can help manage concerns related to:

  • Public Health
  • Environment
  • Deployment
  • Homeland Security
  • Occupation

Specialized Risk Communication Classes​

Risk Communication courses can be tailored to meet participants' specialized
needs to focus on risk communication planning for a specific project, mission or issue.

  • Public Health Emergency Officers (PHEO)
  • COVID pandemic Risk Communication
  • Deployment Health Risk Communication
